Embracing Inclusion in the Legal Profession

Educational and Informational Programs for Members

CLE Programs

The GCMCP organizes and hosts quarterly CLE programs, which are complimentary for all members and their employees. The CLEs most often feature expert minority lawyers from member law firms speaking on a wide range of cutting edge issues. Recent programs have focused on labor and employment issues, career development and social media issues. The CLE programs are held throughout the Greater Cincinnati area to encourage member attendance. Non-members are welcome to attend CLE programs for a modest fee.

GCMCP Gazette

The GCMCP Gazette is a quarterly newsletter written and published by GCMCP members to keep members informed of issues, past and future GCMCP programs and highlight the many achievements of lawyers at GCMCP member organizations. The most recent editions of the GCMCP Gazette can be found on our Resources page.

As part of GCMCP’s commitment to improving diversity and inclusiveness in the Greater Cincinnati Legal community, GCMCP periodically hosts and participates in a wide range of programs with diverse law students at the University of Cincinnati College of Law and the Salmon P. Recent programs have included wine tastings, GCMCP members serving as panelists on student organized programs and GCMCP hiring a student intern to assist with various GCMCP marketing and administrative projects.

Leaders Forum

The GCMCP Leaders Forum luncheon is an invitation only series of programs where general counsels, managing partners of member firms and other leaders in the Cincinnati legal community discuss opportunities and strategies to improve the diversity and inclusiveness of the Cincinnati legal community. The forums also highlight GCMCP’s role in the legal community, offer attendees a chance to consider membership in GCMCP, share best practices, and use GCMCP to help member organizations meet their respective diversity commitments.
