The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of litigation experience, preferably experience in complex commercial litigation and torts/product liability work, including taking and defending depositions, court appearances, and other practical litigation skills. Excellent research and writing skills and strong academic credentials are required. Past judicial clerkships are favored.

Seasoned attorney with experience in the following substantive areas: mergers and acquisitions; commercial relationships; equity investments; corporate financing; and general commercial contracts and strategic transactions. In this role you will work directly with internal clients to structure, draft and negotiate contracts; and work collaboratively with capital management and treasury teams. You will interact with and advise senior management in areas of your responsibility.
Position also involves resolution of contract disputes; risk analysis; regulatory compliance; preparing and revising standard forms of agreements; and training internal clients on legal issues.
Must have excellent writing skills and must be capable of handling most matters with a minimum of supervision. Role model and demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety of others.
Essential Job Functions: Ensure that the Company complies with all applicable laws, rules and regulations within the associate's areas of responsibility. Keep supervisor informed of all material legal matters affecting the Company. Review, draft and negotiate legal agreements and other legal documents. Minimum Position / Education Qualifications: Must be admitted to the practice of law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction. Excellent verbal and written and communication skills. Excellent practical and creative problem solving skills. Excellent business judgment. Ability to advise clients in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the business objectives and risk/reward analysis. Ability to handle multiple projects efficiently and to deal effectively with clients.
